SLS Irelands English & Rugby Course consists of 15 hours General English classes per week. Each class is made up of a maximum of 15 students, all non-native speakers and when possible of varying nationalities. Each class is thought by a TEFL qualified teacher with many years’ experience.

This syllabus follows SLS Ireland General English curriculum.

Over the past four years, the English & Rugby Programme has attracted over 800 players from both Europe and further abroad. These players have come from a range of countries and from varying rugby backgrounds and levels.

SLS’s rugby programme takes place at the home of Leinster Rugby in University College Dublin (UCD). All training is conducted under the supervision and expertise of Leinster Rugby coaches. Students participate in 8 hours of training per week covering all aspects of the game. All training is conducted entirely through English. During their time in Dublin students can expect to learn the ‘Leinster Way’ of rugby whilst getting a glimpse of what a day in the life of a professional rugby player is like.

In addition to rugby training students also have with one afternoon cultural activity on a Friday and a full day excursion on a Saturday.
